Vocalis Restorative | Organic Herbal Tea

I formulated this beautiful herbal tea during a run of The Sound of Music (where I had the wonderful privilege of playing Maria!) Many of us found ourselves loosing our voices from overworking (20+ shows), and illness that swept through.

Cue this tea!

A soothing, restorative herbal blend thoughtfully formulated to comfort and support the throat and a tired, overworked voice. Featuring marshmallow root to coat and soothe, chamomile and plantain leaf to ease inflammation, licorice root and fennel seed to cool and restore, and red rose petals and calendula to help support inflamed tissues and the immune system. This gentle botanical infusion is especially lovely for singers, speakers, teachers, or anyone seeking to help ease a sore throat. Enjoy hot or cold, with a generous spoonful of honey for added soothing comfort.

Preparation: Steep 1–2 teaspoons in 8 oz hot water for 15–20 minutes, or cold steep in 8 oz cool water for 4–8 hours or overnight. Strain well. Add honey once the tea has cooled to 100°F or below.

Warnings: Not for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Contains licorice root. For short-term use only. Do not use continuously for more than 4 weeks; take a 2-week break before resuming.

Contains no caffeine
