Traditional Elderberry Elixir
 
A concentrated herbal preparation crafted with organic elderberries, raw local honey, alcohol, and a carefully selected blend of traditional herbs and spices.
 
Unlike our alcohol-free oxymel, this elixir is alcohol-based and prepared using two different extraction methods, helping capture a broader range of plant constituents than a single extraction method alone. The extracts are then brought together into one concentrated preparation, allowing for a much smaller serving while providing the diverse plant constituents found throughout the formula.
 
At the heart of the blend is elderberry, traditionally used for immune and respiratory support and naturally rich in antioxidant anthocyanins. Rose hips provide naturally occurring vitamin C and polyphenols; ginger and cinnamoncontribute warming, antioxidant plant compounds; calendula has a long tradition of herbal use for lymphatic support; and lemon balm provides gentle antioxidant and calming support.
 
Additional warming spices and real vanilla bean round out the formula, creating a synergistic blend of traditional botanicals that makes this concentrated elixir a must-have for your seasonal wellness cabinet.
Take it straight in its concentrated form, or add your serving to a small amount of water, warm tea, or sparkling water.
 
Our Elderberry Elixir is formulated primarily with teens and adults in mind. Because it is a concentrated, alcohol-based herbal preparation, its strong flavor and alcohol content may not be the best fit for little ones. For younger members of the family, check out our alcohol-free Elderberry Oxymel, made with apple cider vinegar and raw honey instead. As with any herbal preparation for children, consult your child’s healthcare professional before use.
